I talked to Denise Matthews on the phone about two years ago. I had given her my number and she called me. She was talking about the events of 9-11 and how God was speaking to us through terrorism and I was digging her and all that. When she got to talking about the Bible, let me just say that I have never heard the Word of God spoken in such a sexy tone of voice! The way she was talking to me, I just knew that any moment she was gonna start singing "Nasty Girl!"

I damn near repented of my wicked ways! (LOL)

Like I said though IF she Damn well didn't KILL HERSELF with DRUGS and WAS able to FUNCTION in HOLLYWOOD would she be as RELIGIOUS? ONE SHOULDN'T NEED a NEAR DEATh EXPERIENCE to BELEIVE in a HIGHER POWER.....

I really hope this book comes out soon. In alot of ways I feel I can relate to her. She seemed to always be looking to men for self esteem and affirmation. I used to do that ALOT, still do in some ways. She seemed insecure in her younger years...I'm still that way. She has alot to say and I'm interested. Curious to see what she has learned but still sometimes the things she says I don't really understand how she got to that point of thinking that way but at the same time..I haven't lived her life so...I was into drugs during my teenage years...but nothing like her...it's a good thing she has survived. I think she could teach a thing or two to young women with self esteem issues who are in industries that feed off of girls like she once was.
