Too much make-up; it makes her old(er than she is). That was the first thing I noticed about her at Nokia Theater in NYC too. She had it caked on there, and at the NAACP Vanguard jam too. I think she is pretty--she doesn't need all that make-up.

i agree that there's too much make up but I love the fro....

Is it just me, or is there very little buzz about the Tamar album? A world-wide listening session for 3121 but nothing for BL&B, I haven't seen any Prince fans excited about this release even though chances are Prince wrote and did all the songs, like he did with most of his proteges...

If P is really trying to make her his "Beyonce" (I hope not), then they are going to have to come strong in the style department. She needs to ditch the afro wigs and wear different hairstyles. That goes for the twins too. Their hairstyles have not changes since I first saw them on SNL. Most of the young female entertainers can be seen sporting various looks.

I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't think they are promoting her right. She looks much older in the few promo photos that I have seen. They have her wearing caftans and some other stuff that seems too old for her. I don't see how she will appeal to younger people.
