Yes, an undisovered gem.
I'm too lazy to look now, but I'm pretty sure I once looked it up on the US Copyright database and I think it was NOT written by Prince. I seem to remember the writers were Sheila, Stef Birnbaum, and maybe Benny Rietveld, who were in her band at the time. Thanks to a very generous orger who is no longer with us, I have a CD of a live show from 84/85 where Sheila and her band perform "Too Sexy" and it is ROOOWWWWWKS! Edited to add: Isn't "too sexy" one of Morris' signature lines...spoken in that special "Morris" voice? [Edited 3/2/06 23:08pm]  |
