"Drum Fever" How Did You Get Yours? I'm just curious as to how those that have the CD obtained a copy of the 1995 European NPG Records release of the Jacob Armen album "Drum Fever". Back when it came out (and I was in my pre-internet days so my resources were limited) I tried to use the same import companies (I live in the States) that I used to get the NPG's "Exodus" and Mayte's "Child Of The Sun", which were Music Machine and EQS Music. For some reason even they couldn't tell me they were never able to get Armen's "Drum Fever"so it remains the one protege release I don't own. Now the few people who are offering it for sale are asking hundreds of dollars for it and I can't afford it, but I'm just curious to know from those few who managed to get a copy, how did you do it?

As a Prince/PP/NPG collector, I ordered a copy in my local store (Europe), specialized in imports. It came in about a week later. I thought by then 'limited edition' but never realized it would become so sought after (otherwise I would have ordered multiple copies!!). I think I have the second pressing (1995).
By the way, I enjoy some tracks, but not all. I like the 'small combo' tracks (with Eric Leeds) but the rest is a bit too much technical show-off or too metalish for me. jazzz
