Thing is, no one knows. The entire album, band and tour are still under wraps. This might be just a band for a quick publicity tour, as he did earlier. He once did a television show around the time of the Batman album/Nude tour that was half made up from band members and just one-offers. Remember the LAST tour? And the ONA tour? There was Rad! There she wasn't! This date had Maceo! The other didn't, but hey! There's Sheila! Sheila gone? Insert Eric Leeds. Etc etc. I don't think he HAD a band anymore! It's just like a Revolution Revue! |

From the March 27 gig in Reno, the NPG itself never changed during the tour, except that Mike Phillips filled in for Maceo at the beginning of the tour. (Maceo was reportedly absent due to unspecified medical reasons.) Rhonda, Candy, John, Renato, Mike Scott, Greg, and Chance played every gig of the tour. There were a few guest appearances here and there, but the core of the band stayed the same."I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great.
