Yeah I remember years back I was at a Prince concert , before it started there was a rolling tape with Ingrid speaking . One of the lines was Wendy & Lisa phone home , I often wondered if they ever called home ???

Yes, Wendy & Lisa responded to the song..Actually, during the creation of the song...Prince, Wendy and Lisa were corresponding with each other. Prince sent them a demo of the song and asked for input. They responded but none of their work ended up on the song.

Wendy and Lisa have always been open to working with Prince again. In statements via wendyandlisa.com, Wendy and Lisa expressed their respect for Prince. They also said that they never recieved any request to work on Roadhouse Garden. There was major interest in attending last years Celebration however they did not recieve enough notice and had already planned a series of concerts with Neil Finn (in Australia)...

In various interviews the girls have stated that they will recieve calls from Prince now and then...(sometimes in the middle of the night) and they are always receptive towards him. I guess the closest to a reunion was for the VH1 Honors thingie...(Im sure must of you all know about this)...Prince wanted to start off the show performing on stage...then, out of nowhere Wendy, Lisa and the rest of the Revolution (i guess) were to walk out from the audience (ala SOTT @ MTV AWARDS)...but this time they would have dancers and flags and stuff. The girls did not feel that a performance like that would fit the tone of their current work and recommended that the group simply due an acustic set. The whole thing was nixed...

I really think the three of them will sit down one day. Each have evolved musically and I am one individual who would be excited to hear what powerful and exciting new sounds would be created...

SkeltonKee , I sincerly hope that you are right . Nothing would make me happier than to see Prince , Wendy and Lisa performing together again . The three of them together worked magic .

I also hope that would happen! then there will be no denying that Prince was, has been and always will be the greatest artist of all time I really think with the addition of these two talented musicians he can definitely put all the naysayers to rest!!
