Alexander O'Neal's Live album Who here has heard Alex's live album, "Live at the Hammersmith Apollo", that was just released just last summer? I finally got my mits on it, and it just BLOWS me away!!! His performances of Sunshine, If You Were Here Tonight, A Broken Heart Can Mend, and a few others just sound incredible! His vioce really hasn't missed a beat and his band sound dead on, recreating the magic of his jams. I know I can't be the only person here with good taste (I know PaisleyPark4 was talkin' about this album a couple of months ago), so who else here is diggin' this album and Alex in general?! I just wish he'd tour the States again and soon!!

Hello. This is only my 2nd reply to any topic so here I go. Alex is THE MAN! I have this cd and all his material. He has one of the best voices that no one appreciates.I enjoy everything he does. I've sang his songs to women who are amazed by his lyrics.(I can carry a tune) I give them his cds and they are wowed. I only wish more people knew this man. I guess I'm "old school". So in response to you last post, there are fans out there.

I like Alexander. But I'm more into his faster stuff. Fake. Innocent. Sleigh Ride. Those jams really have the Minneapple sound thumping. O'Neal has an exceptional voice too. When it comes to the Prince family of artists, though, he's like the red-headed step child though. THat doesnt' mean he's not any good though...just seldom appreciated.
