So I recently got this CD and at first I was not impressed but after a few listens I must say it rocks! I love the title track as well as mechanical emotion, strap on robbie baby, samuelle and pretty mess. By the way, that song is very risque. Sounds like something Lil Kim would record now. Does anyone know the lyrics to that song or any others from that album? Also what do you guys think of that album?

I love this album -- must get on CD!!!!

I love it all -- pretty mess is the weakest track. Samuelle kills me every time. The lyrics are written on the album sleeve. I'll see if I can dig it up!

yeah, the vocals took a long time to figure out back in the day. i just picked up a vinyl copy a couple of years ago and FINALLY learned the right lyrics.

I love Under the Influence, but never heard any other songs from the album.

And yes, I'm quite a lover of Apollonia 6 as well.

I've got it on vinyl. I dig it pretty well. Never get tired of "Samuelle".

I have Apollonia 6 too, it has it's moments, but i think i liked Vanity 6 better.

Such a "Pretty Mess" all over my dress. Hmmm! Sounds like it should have been written 4 Lewinsky. Just Kidding! I love the song, CD-and Vanity was always my favorite. It was always Vanity 6 for me, never Apollonia 6.

Although I like the album,I have a few problems with it.The lyrics are atrocious and Vanity spends most of the album squealing and moaning.Her vocals are intolerable on a few tracks,especially "Crazy Maybe".I also think this album is uneven.She needed a few more strong funky tracks.The Vanity 6 album is superior.
