What isn't Pretty Mess on Vanity 6's only album?

What album are you thinking of? Isn't it on "Wild Animal", her 1st solo joint? "Skin on Skin" was her 2nd...

He's what I thought/think Vanity 6 had only 1 self title album (I got that from the internet) and its not on that album.What album is it from them? I thought they only had 1 album

Vanity 6 was a female trio consisting of Vanity,Susan Moonsie and Brenda Bennett.They released their debut album in August 1982,produced by Prince.It included the hit single "Nasty Girl" and three other singles that didn't do that well: "He's So Dull","Drive Me Wild" and "Bite The Beat".But the album went gold and the girls were the opening act on Prince's '1999' tour,which also featured the Time.The tour concluded in the early spring of 1983 and Vanity decided to go solo.She signed with Motown Records and released her debut solo album 'Wild Animal' in the late summer of 1984.It included the hit "Pretty Mess";a second single,"Mechanical Emotion",featured Morris Day on background vocals.A year later,she starred in the movie "The Last Dragon",which featured a new song by her called "7th Heaven".


In the spring of 1986,Vanity released her second solo album 'Skin On Skin',which features the hit "Under The Influence".She never released another full album,but in 1988,she contributed two tracks to the "Action Jackson" movie soundtrack: "Undress" and "Faraway Eyes",both produced by Jesse Johnson.She also starred in the film.

Definitely Vanity 6.Their debut album went gold and featured a Top 10 R&B hit "Nasty Girl".Vanity's two solo albums didn't do that well.I don't think either of her two albums reached gold status.
