Drums on the time's first two albums.

On the non-drum machine tracks, did Morris play the drums or did Prince take care of that as well?

I'm pretty sure that Prince did the drums himself. The Time was an interesting project because Prince did almost all of the tracks at his home and didn't even put it on fresh audio tape, he used recycled tape. It was done 'down and dirty' and when he was done with the tape, he'd give each member of the band a copy and say "learn it. here is your next album'.

Morris may have layed the drums down on a few tracks, but most of it was probably done by Prince, because he doesn't like waiting around for someone when he's got the groove in his head.
