Hmm..

Its kind of hard to do that(rate each by their talent) since prince was playing all the instruments and would teach each member their part(s) individually.
I think whatever instrument that they played in concert
was most likely the instrument they were most comfortable on.

All of them are very talented. It's hard to rate them. Good post though. I WILL say that Jesse Johnson is amongst the best guitarists in the world!

They're all talented but I'm thinking Jerome would come in dead last on the talent scale.
Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

I agreed and since Jesse had some solos you can hear, I guessed I considered him to be the most talented followed by Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam.

I think they were just as equally talented. We're talking about a supergroup in the true sense of the word.

I'm not sure people talk about this much, but every one of them-Morris, Monte, Jesse, Jellybean, Terry and Jimmy have written/produced at least one Top Ten hit for their own CDs or for other artists. I wonder how many bands have that distinction of having all individual members having written/produced hits on their own?(Jerome excluded-not really being a musician).
