Christmas Jam of the Day: "Sleigh Ride" by Alexander O'Neil Last week, I heard this song for the first time in years. I heard it in Picadilly (a cafeteria) of all places. The music was very low but I immediately heard some synthesizers to the tune of "Jingle Bells" and I started straining my ears to hear it and then I recognized it.
I went and bought the album and this has become my favorite Christmas jam. It sounds very much like "Fake". Unfortunately, as usual, it's the only uptempo hardcore funk jam on an Alexander O'Neal album but I was expecting that when I bought it. Anyone else like this song? Andy is a four letter word.

I'm glad somebody besides me likes this song. ease up vainandy. it's closer to christmas remember. it not that people doesnt like the song, well you know the obvious of the lack of response. anyway i first this song on radio back in the early 90s when my old radio station (RIP FOXY 107.9) played it along with other christmas jams. i heard the song again on wednesday on my fav funk/dance station on the net after they played run dmc's christmas song. I like the song too and it does sound like fake.

Good song. Still, I think it would've been better if Morris had sung it.
