In 1984 when both Morris and Jesse left the Time, why did Jesse leave Warner Bros. for A&M and Morris stay. It make me think that Morris was the only member who was signed to Warner.

Or did Jesse leave because of his differences with Prince, and wanted to bbe on a totaly different label then him.

My guess is that Jesse just wanted to start over on another label,to break away from the whole Prince connection.I'm sure he could have easily gotten a solo deal from Warner Bros,if he wanted to.
