Inspired by the banner that says

I thought Id take a look at Maytes site to see if it was 'official' and what she was upto now.

Look through her Biog and History she seem to forget tehfact she ever actually married the little fella....if you didnt know better youd say she did a bit of dancing, Prince saw a video of her (the years appear to be a bit wonkty to reality!!!) and asked her to dance, she did an album then married Tommy Lee

I doubt she said she married Tommy Lee as they only dated and that was a while ago.

well,Prince never talks about Mayte or any other of his ex's so I guess she chooses not 2 too. or maybe she wants 2 get away from ppl just calling her "princes ex"

Hmmm...maybe being married to Prince was a painful time for her and she wants to move on.

She mentioned him in articles just Not Wanting to RIDE On His Coattails is What I Think.

For her, she will never get past being P's ex. It's just not going to happen. But I do agree that her failure to mention her marriage to him is pretty weird.

I've had a look at the website and it's not so much a fan site in my opinion, it's more of a hardsell promotional thing. I mean you can get her Managements contact details from there and a copy of her resume! Her site is purely a tool to get her more exposure and more work by the look of it.

With this in mind I can totally understand why her marriage to Prince isn't mentioned. I mean, if you were trying to get work and you were a divorcee, would you feel any need to mention your ex at all on a cv/resume other than if it was work related? I don't think it's weird that it isn't mentioned I'm just guessing that she probably thinks the information would be surplus to requirements. Plus, can you imagine the backlash if she did mention it on there??? Let's face it the girl can't win with most Prince fans. If she doesn't mention him people say it's "weird", and if she does everyone accuses her of trying to make a name for herself off the back of him! Such is life!

A Woman Has Got to Move on....I am Happy to see her in different projects.
