What can I say except..It was an Unbelievable night!! Sheila E, little sis Zina, Beck, Pops Melvoin as well as Pops Bramhall were all in the house...Band was a group of old and new members. Chris Bruce, Mike Elizondo, Cole Coleman,Joey Warnoker(sp?) on drums, a steel guitar player who's name i forget and of coarse Wendy and Lisa....A better review will be posted later...its bedtime for bozo.. A fun show. A run thru the usual W&L songs. ATWIAD was the only Prince era song done, and no talk about Prince or his writing this time. lol
At the end Wendy and the some of the others came out to talk to everyone. Lisa looked amazing. Also it was fun seeing Wendy and Susannah looking so similar on stage. They had almost matching hairstyles. Not as funky as other events, and not as intimate as their last time, but it is always fun seeing the girlbros play. PHENOMENAL. All the Pacifico shows and the October set were great, but last night was the kind of show I've always wanted to see. A proper Wendy & Lisa show with a band.
