It has nothing to do with Prince or Paisley Park Records.

Wrong forum. Moving to Associated Artists >>>>>
As for Skyfish, it's not her second album - it was simply a collection of demo recordings made available as a cassette before she ever met Prince or David Sylvian. A fan-compiled bootleg was released featuring these tracks and a number of promo/12" mixes of tracks from the Paisley Album, and this often leads people to think they were recordings made for a second Paisley releases when this was actually far from the case. She made a number of fantastic recordings with David Sylvian, and they are really worth tracking down and checking out.

Ingrid is featured in four tracks as "B-Sides" to the David Sylvian's UK single "I Surrender." This single had two "parts" and each one had two Ingrid songs. I purchased them at the L.A. Virgin Megastore... for a pretty penny, but they were worth it. You can also find some of her work on his collection "Everything and Nothing," in particular the song "Heartbeat" by Ryuichi Sakamoto.

She also did a track on his UK cd single 'Godman' called 'Shadowland' (Northfield)' as well as being heavily involved in the album from which those tracks came, the excellent: 'Dead Bees On A Cake'. The 'Godman' single is of particular note because a limited edition run of the single featured an interactive element CD-Rom of David and Ingrid's 15-minute short promo film for 'Dead Bees...' called 'Time Spent' which is just beautiful.

BC: Thanks for that tip! Is "Shadowland(Northfield)" another "part" of "Godman", or is this a track I COMPLETELY overlooked due to my running to watch "Time Spent"? "Dead Bees" and all the work from this time is very special to me, especially since the whole Sylvian/Chavez family was deeply involved with Amma and the influence that this had on the sound and vibe of the work.
Back to "Skyfish": just how did they demo tracks sound? I'm sure nothing like the debut.

the quality of the recording i have is shit but the music and her reading performances are dreamy and atmosphereic nothing unlike her bit at the beginning of Lovesexy. most the words are lovely ' In the Heart of Friends' is probably my favorite. i knew you one year ago but do not know you now We walked inside the walls of one year ago but it's only silence now or something like it- it's been a long time, i'm afraid.
