I think it goes back to the "Under the Cherry Moon" movie when Prince and Jerome scare the girl. You remember, the close-up with the eyes....

I think some people are reading wayyyy too much into this. Prince is obviously just being a goofball with this scene, rather like the coughing he does during the beginning of the Raspberry Beret maxi-single and video. It means nothing. Prince is just having a laugh. | |
