That movie she did with Harrison Ford was on TV not too long ago. The one where both their spouses were having an affair, and the only reason they found out is because the spouses died in a plane crash on their way to a rendezvous. It had its good parts, but it was mostly boring.

That was 'Random Hearts'. I've seen that film--not her best. Another odd American one was 'The Horse Whisperer' with Robert Redford and Scarlett Johansson. Scarlett is only like 12 years old or something in that one. And then there's 'Life As A House' with Kevin Kline and Hayden Christensen. Hayden plays Kristin's character's goth-rebel son. It took me forever to realize he was the same actor as in the Star Wars films. All those movies are mediocre at best. 'Gosford Park' was really good though. I haven't seen any of her films after that one.

Yes, I absolutely ADORE that movie. I wish KST had more scenes there. I, also, think she was great in Gosford Park. She's still a beauty.

I'm probably entirely wrong but I always get the impression that KST gets the kind of roles that Emma Thompson might have been offered when she was younger, or the ones she turns down. lol (I seem to recall reading that Emma Thompson turned down The Horse Whisperer). Btw, The English Patient and Four Weddings And A Funeral are other interesting places to see KST in action.

Wasn't Ryan Phillipe Kristin's boy toy in that movie? That may have been her last film to open in the U.S. unfortunately.

(And not just because you can see Kristin nekkid ) Have you seen her in Roman Polanski's 'Bitter Moon'? Like in 'Four Weddings', she co stars with Hugh Grant. add edit [Edited 12/1/05 16:22pm]

The first post-Under The Cherry Moon performance by Kristin that I saw was the Masterpiece Theatre 'Body And Soul' episodes. After watching those, I started looking for all her other work.

Hmm, Bitter Moon looks familiar but I don't remember ever seeing it. I'll have to see if I can track it down. Thanks!

Yeah, we covered that one. Scarlett Johansson as a 12-year old is the one notable thing about it. Kristin also had a small part in the first 'Mission Impossible' film. That was the only reason I went to see it.

Currently working hard as ever and getting rave reviews from the critics in her current West End theatre role.

Yes, and what the hell were they thinking by killing her off so quick! She has such an expressive face that just about everyone else in that film looked as animated as shop window dummies.

That's like when Samantha Morton appeared in 'Minority Report'. Or Tilda Swinton in 'Vanilla Sky'. Tom Cruise somehow gets really talented actresses to appear in his films. I'm sure Cate Blanchett must have co-starred with him at some point.
