Here is a link to the video. Deborah Allen is known more as a country-pop singer though her 1987 album "Telepathy" she was all pop. Prince wrote the song "Telepathy".

"Telepathy" is a soft-funk number driven by synthesized horns. Musically, there are no tell-tale signs of Prince's involvement such as the ones detectable on his pseudonymous contributions to Sheena Easton's "Sugar Walls." But such lyrics as "You're a hungry wolf in a valley of lambs" in "Telepathy" might suggest Prince. Certainly, the phrasing could have been coaxed by him, especially the breathy "I want you" section and the enunciation that recalls Tina Turner's.

from memory.....
So U like the way I walk? So U like my disposition? Same 'ol story a different situation, yeah I know your kind like the back of my hand Just a hungry wolf in a valley of lambs U don't have to talk Boy I understand The heat in this room speaks loud enough Telepathy (hey baby) U don't have to tell me whats on your mind Telepathy (hey baby) Everything U want is in your eyes U don't know what I'm about Still U wanna make time Say U wanna go out Baby when U know that ain't all that's on your mind I know your kind like the back of hand You're a hungry wolf in a valley of lambs U don't have to talk Boy I understand The heat in this room speaks loud enough Telepathy (hey baby) U don't have to tell me whats on your mind Telepathy (hey baby) Everything you want is in your eyes Hey baby Now you know I know Whats on your mind I know your kind U wanna make some time So U like the way I kiss Say you like the way my body feels next to yours Its awfully hard to resist This kind of friction could start a war I know you're kind like the back of my hand You're a hungry wolf in a valley of lambs Don't talk, boy I understand The heat in this room speaks loud enough

It is extremely Prince sounding. I was posted a review of the song in a previous post. I was shocked that the individual who reviewed the song could hear little trace of Prince in the music. He/she must have been deaf or stupid.

I have never understood this term "dated" that people throw around in reference to music. Good music doesnt age. If its good 20 or 200 years ago, its good today. I think this is something that people who really dont know music say to sound informed.[Edited 11/13/05 9:31am]

Written and produced by Joey Coco (Prince):
So you like the way I walk So you like my disposition - oh It's the same 'ol story But a different situation - yeh I know your kind like the back of my hand You're a hungry wolf in a valley of lambs - oh You don't have to talk for I understand The heat in this room speaks loud enough Telepathy - hey baby You don't have to tell me what's on your mind Telepathy - hey baby Everything you want is in your eyes You don't know what I'm about And still you wanna make time You say you wanna go out Baby, when you know that ain't all that's on your mind Baby, baby I know your kind like the back of my hand - baby You're a hungry wolf in a valley of lambs - oh You don't have to talk for I understand The heat in this room speaks loud enough Telepathy - hey baby You don't have to tell me what's on your mind Telepathy - hey baby Everything you want is in your eyes Now you know I know What's on your mind What's on your mind I know your kind You wanna make some time Telepathy So you like the way I kiss You say you like the way my body feels next to yours You know it's awfully hard to resist - baby This kind of friction could start a war (start the third world war) I know your kind, I know your kind Like the back of my hand You're a hungry wolf in a valley of lambs Ooh - yes, you are, don't talk I understand The heat in this room speaks loud enough Telepathy - hey baby You don't have to tell me what's on your mind Telepathy - hey baby Everything you want is in your eyes Telepathy - hey baby Say you like my disposition Telepathy - oh, ah It's the same old story just a different situation Sim sim salla bim The spirits are about to speak Some boys I know just open their mouths Just to swap feet Don't get me wrong I wantcha But on the very first night? It might be your style But 2 wrongs don't make a right Come on and kiss me 'Cause I don't wanna fight Kiss me baby Don't waste tonight On the idle talkin' Jabber walkin' Snow lines Red wine Come on Come on - yeh Telepathy - (there you go) Telepathy Don't lie cause I know what's on your mind It's in your eyes Telepathy - hey baby Telepathy - hey baby
