Carmen Electra's album: Discuss I finally got my hands on it (thanks 2 the ever beatiful and sexy Hamster/Guoey...aka Herman) and it's really good! Great beats...

The mistake they made with Carmen is....they tried to market her as a female rapper  Bad mistake.They should have simply got rid of the rapping/samples,and presented her as a dance music artist.No,she can't sing,but neither could most of Prince's other female proteges (lol).Her album should have been a fun,carefree dance album.The track "Fantasia Erotica" (which features very little rapping) is brilliant.With more songs like that,her CD would have fared better. | |

Yeah but people it really is not that bad. You know Carmen pretty much took Robin Power's place. Robin was suppose to be the female rapper with that sexy, feminnie image. Prince just used the idea for Robin and applied it to Carmen.
Oh and P.S. I loved the album. I got it on audio cassette when it first came out. It is fun to break a sweat to.  | |

Honestly, the music on the album is decent for the most part. Carmen doesn't have the best of flows. "Everybody get on up" is okay. | |
