Personally I think that the interview with her in the Loaded Magazine was made up, cos, if I remember she said that she couldnt even call him Prince as he would get all "arsey" about it, in her words. The thing is, Mayte is American and they use the word "ass", not "arse", like we do here in the UK!!!!

Also, another thing is, I thought she had 2 sign a confidentiality agreement with Prince which prevented her from talking about him, when they went their seperate ways, so then that would prevent her from talking about or even mentioning Prince in interviews!!!

Also, according 2 certain sources, she doesnt even liked being asked about Prince anyway, as she has moved on!!

So, all in all, this leads me 2 beleive that this interview was made up!! nod nod

Oh boy, here we go with the mystical "confidentiality" bs again. As I have stated on here before, confidentiality contracts almost always pertain to money and usually only last throughout the employ of the person or for a specific duration of time. NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THEM FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. (unless they kill you) You'd have to be crazy to believe that. That being said, it is kinda hard picturing Mayte saying "arse".

They very well just could've changed Mayte saying "ass" to "arse" so that their readers would understand it better. It doesn't mean the entire interview itself was fabricated.

Maybe she said something like "He was a real ass about it."

i don't think she has said any of it really. She has moved on from Prince and she has pretty much kept a dignified silence on the subject. She could have flaunted around and used the name Mayte Garcia Nelson but she didn't. Now she is trying to make a go of things on her own. Good Luck to her i say!!

i read that she said that she was with prince and there is nothing to be ashamed of nor embarrassed about. she talks nice about him....saying he was her first in everything blah blah.. so it sounds to me she has moved on but also in a positive way and remembering it in a good way. i think she is just not prone to talk bout why it ended. etc. she has even stated how she learned alot from being around him and touring .. all that jazz.

and the confindentiality agreement is real and i think they are different for different people he has been involved with. it is just protection from talking about some personal things that one may have experienced with him or about him. like specifics. detailed things.. otherwise i dont think he has a problem with any of it.
you can say you knew him .. but not anything like .. "on this night we did..."

get what i am saying... peace.

The confidentiality agreement may be real but what's actually legally binding is what comes into question. Those that don't know the law are easily fooled when something is presented by someone who does (Londell, etc.)
As long as its not deliberate SLANDER, its REALLY REALLY hard to get a judge to uplhold an agreement with outlandish silence clauses. Many judges would consider it a pretentious waste of the court's time and throw it out unless there was a monetary loss tied to the supposed violation. "She said I had a small d*ck and it hurt my record sales and concert turn-outs" would hardly stand as a reasonable excuse to uphold a confidentiality agreement. The burden of proof lies on the accuser. Usually those are made when there is MONEY involved. She can say "We f*cked on October 12th and under the pale moonlight in our first year of marriage in the Sahara desert" with no consequences. He could take her to court, but but a judge with any common sense would throw it and him out.

The only other time I have ever seen the word "arse" other than the org, was in a British porno mag. Down here, "ass" comes out sounding like "aayuss". lol
