Hey U beat me to the  I was gonna post this same thing. At first I wasnt sure that it was here,but then when they did a close up of her answering the door I was like wow it is here. She did good and still looked beautiful even battered and bruised.
Anx ~ The Closer is a police crime solving type of show that comes on TNT  ?Cause me and u could have been a work of art

Last night her lines were: "Yes", "No", "I don't know", [sniff, blubber, sob, sniff blubber sob], "He's busy",[deer in headlights look], "Mama". in all fairness, she has no prior acting experience in large vehicles...she's doing what every friggin' actress in hollywood does, starting with commercials, then walk-ons, close-ups (with the deer-in-headligts look), and eventually ( and thankfully-finally) spoken lines. there's a hierarchy in the film biz when you don't have the opportunity to start at say, TWELVE like the elijahs and kirstens and lorenzes and lawrences and jodies of the world... it's not about hook-ups. it's about having a good agent and being steadfast, and willing to pound the pavement like everyone else...for a really LONG ASS TIME  | |

(And some even go on to be cast as regular characters even though they're not top notch actresses. --Elizabeth Rohm from Law & Order comes to mind). Furthermore, the part Mayte had on this particular episode was a major character in the storyline. It's not like she was cast as "woman in line at grocery store". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
