Video for "screams of passion" Anyone seen this?
I actually like it. It looks so cheap it seems sorta surreal now. The whole band are superimposed on a beach with the crashing waves behind them on a shore. I wanna see the whole thing, but have only seen a clip of it. Anyone seen or own the whole thing? Must be pretty rare

This video takes me back in time. Definitely!! I even remember the night they debuted it on Night Tracks on TBS!! My boyfriend and I stayed up late to see it. I really love both the video and the song. Everybody looks great in the video - Susannah was so beautiful and I always thought St. Paul was so cute!

Eric told a story at Xenophobia about how Prince told him to just pretend to play bass since there is no sax on that record.

I've seen it. I liked it because it uses the remix version. Kindred needs to do a remake of this song. "But what of black women? . . . I most sincerely doubt if any other race of women could have brought its fineness up through so devilish a fire." -- W.E.B. Du Bois --

I can offically say I am not a Family Man. Most videos were awful in 1985.

I was in the front, I was the guy who mentioned the beautiful arrangements of some Prince classics they played during the Hamburg 1994 show of Sheila E and he said they were done by Renato...I didn´t remember Renato because he looked completely different with his long hair back then. And David (Daoud) Coleman on the cello. Between him and Susannah (and Jonathan Melvoin also worked on that record) it was truly a family effort!

Yeah, I have it on tape. Eric is "slangin" on the bass. Cool video. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I finally got it as a prsent on VHS of all protege videos. I like it, although the really should've done a video to High Fasion/Mutiny!!!
BTW, today I happen to see the Jane Pauley Show at the gym and St. Paul was playing bass and possibly MD'ing for Donny Osmond.

OH wow, I just watched it. Talk about a blast from my past! Had forgotten all about that one...
I wish Prince would have done more with this group; they would have left a mark on the 80s w/ the old-school glam they had going on. I was so into that, back in the day...
