hmmm gives me a good excuse to run up to NYC !!!! to my fav club near times square !!!

Someone stated that Jesse was back with the Time. Is this just an old photo or was that a rumor? I'll travel to a show if Jesse is there too (or maybe even if he isn't) but, it would be better with him. I saw them perform once before. It was a great show but I would've liked to see all the guys together.

No Jesse is not back with the Time. But please trust, they do still put on a great show. This is more or less the pic they use for promotions. Since those 4 are the original members of the group.

quick question -- the TIME are there on DEC 10 in NYC ... and obviously it is $$$$$ season in NYC ... anyone know any good places to stay kinda close to BB KINGS ??? i used to know a couple great places --- but they are much more expensive now all of a sudden ...

This is my review of the concert of Morris Day & The Time @ Bayfest in Mobile - 10/7/05 Pics are also included:

Well just let me say I had the time of my life. This is a night that I will never ever 4get! U heard what Rhastus said about the crowd wanting to sit down during the entire show. I just don't know what is up with this city that I live in, one of the reasons why I want to leave so bad. (4 those who don't know Rhastus, he's mainly over at Housequake.)

But anyways before the show I met Rhastus, a very cool guy along with his friends Jason & Ashley. As my sister & I were standing at the gate to see the show, we saw Jerome come over to the side opening of the stage, guess he was trying to see how many people were out there. But I yelled out to him so he could read my sign I wrote that I knew one of his friends from California. She told me to do this by the way, so I would get noticed. And sure enough it worked. During the show he finally sees me holding up my sign and winking my eye at him. So he comes over to the side of the stage where I was standing and says, "Why do u keep winking your eye at me?" Embrassing me alot right then. Then he says, "You keep holding that little sign up what does that sign say?", so he read the sign out loud in front of everyone very slowing. So the sign basically said that "I KNOW ____ _____FROM CALIFORNIA", which like I mention earlier is a friend of his. So he tried to be funny about the situation and said, "Well, I know that George Bush is the President". So I was like ok, he trying to be funny.

So he goes on with the show, but right before they play Jungle Love, which was the last song of the night. He came back over to the side we were
standing. And says,"Where is _____ _____ friend at?" So I was like I'm right here! So he begins to ask me, "Do you know what you are about to experience right now? This is gonna be the funkiest time of your life!" Then I responded with a, "Yes & I know!" Then he says, "Ok then, so let me get back to the rest of Mobile."

I felt really great at that moment, that he singled me out and only talked to me for just a moment. I was in heaven well at least that is what I thought. The night only got better after the show.

After the show, Jerome comes back to the side opening of the stage where he came out earlier and called me over to him, he told me,"That they aren't letting anybody backstage but he wanted to come and meet me."
So I shook his hand, and he pulled me to him and kissed me on my cheek and I kissed him on his cheek. At that moment I almost forgot that I had gotten "The Password" and the "Tribute 2 The Time" laminated to give to them, until my sister Sandra reminded me. So I quickly handed him the poems and he kissed me one last time before returning backstage.

So we basically thought that was it for the night. So we stood there talking to Rhastus and his friends, right then, Jason told Rhastus to go and call Tori to see what was up and sure enough Tori answered and told him what hotel they were staying in and said that they should be hanging out at the bar later. So we were like cool lets go, we walked to the hotel cause it was like up the street around the corner, not far at all.

So once my sister & I enter the hotel we were trying to get to the restroom, guess who we see standing there talking to his bodyguard. Morris Day!!! So I just simply walked up to him and shook his hand and
was trying to tell him who's friend I was. Then I asked him if we could take a picture with him he says, "Sure come on." Then as I was standing there posing for the picture with Morris and I said, "I Can't Believe It!" He told me, "Believe It!" Then he did his usual pose that he does and that moment was captured 4ever!

So once we got finish taking the pics with Morris, we went on to the restroom, very very excited. That's when we seen Rhastus and his friends again. So they end up missing Morris in the Lobby but like Rhastus said were able to see him in the bar of the hotel. Before we left out of the restroom, we had to call our Mama and tell her that we had just took a picture with Morris Day! So we calmed down and got our composure back and headed to the bar. As soon as we walked in, there was Morris sitting at the bar with his brother and bodyguard. We just walked right pass them and sat down with Rhastus and his friends. We didn't want to bother him anymore, since we had already taken a picture with him. But I ended up talking to his brother which in turn I ended up talking to Morris again too.

So we ordered a couple of Apple Martini's and chilled for a minute. Then Morris left then Jellybean walked in, then soon after Jerome & Monte walked in also. Jerome came and spoke to all of us and sat down at the
bar. We talked for a pretty long time about the show and some personal stuff.

I had another copy of "The Password" and Jerome, Jellybean & Monte all signed it 4 me. Then we talked some more then Jerome, my sister, Sandra, and I all went out to the Lobby to take some pictures. We really had a great time with Jerome as u will see on the pictures.

Well my sister had to go to work the next day, so we said good night to everyone and walked back to our car. But if she didn't have to work I'm sure we would have stayed longer, but then again we didn't want to wear out our welcome u know. Jerome did call us his "Friends" at the end of the night!

So that is my experience, here's the set list from Rhastus review:

ELECTRIC MAN will be attending the NYC show(s), as well as hitting the Mohegan Sun on Sunday, Dec. 11 2 check out the fellas and revel in the funk!! Joey the C, Soul Sista #1 and Gi Money will also be attending.
