Listen in as the "Upper Room with Joe Kelley & Gi Dussault" welcomes two special musicians for LIVE interviews: JOHN BLACKWELL, drummer extraordinaire for Prince & the NPG, and Sounds of Blackness founder, GARY HINES. During the show, we will be in the NPG Music Club chat room and feel free to send along questions for the two guests there.

John Blackwell (www.johnblackwell.net) has been working on the John Blackwell Project from where he has premiered new music on the "Upper Room" . He has toured with Candy Dulfer this summer and played in bands with Jetro Da Silva, Jean-Paul Bourelly, and TM Stevens. Gary Hines of Sounds of Blackness (www.theblackness.com) is the founder of the Grammy award-winning Minneapolis band who has worked with Prince, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Janet Jackson, The Steeles and many more. They recently released a stellar new CD "Unity" which features the return of vocalist Ann Nesby.

The "Upper Room" hosts a live monthly Prince and Minneapolis-related artists music special on the last Sunday of the month. You will hear an incredible variety of Prince and Prince-related artists music. In addition, you'll hear interviews and studio performances. Listener interaction is highly encouraged so be sure to drop us a line on any requests for music and future guests.

Thanks Dori for listening. Wish everyone could hear the show at a good time zone. Don't lose sleep but hope you can catch at least some of the show.
