What a great night in Akron, Ohio as Morris Day and The Time came in and took over the "Akron Family BBQ".....

It is an incredible thang when a band that hasn't made an album in 15 years can stir up the same vibe as they did "back in the day"..

I also attended the Detroit Show and the set list was a little different in Akron...

The Time performed.."My drawers" and "Sexy Socialites" in Akron

Other than THAT "aint nothing changed but the date"

my kids and my wife came along 4 the fun and we had such an nice time

Alexander Oneal played b4 the Time which has also a great bonus....

QueenB, It was like meeting the sister I never knew about..like we've know each other 4ever

Morris, U are as cool in the hotel lobby as you are onstage

Jerome, U are all class, Let's go fishing!!!

my Brotha Midnight Funk...it was truly Beauteous 4 our 'extended' family 2 come 2gether this past weekend....still full from all the LOVE that came from that flock of sparrows that flew through

...when this one can get a moment, will give my 'astral' review of the show.....the fella's get huge LOVE from people everywhere they go! Being the very 'real' guys that they R, they've made Friends these many years on the road & its never surprizing 2 find 3 generations of folks that come 2 watch the show &/or speak afterwards...something very special will happen 4 them this summer...
