There was a lot of talent there between them. My problem is that any woman even remotely associated with Prince in the past has been automatically assumed to be one of his conquests on this thread. I definitly think Mayte has the best bod!
I know when I was younger and I first saw her it was like a huge relief for me. I had spent all my youth traning as a dancer, and all of the images that were thrown at me were those of stick thin, emaciated looking ballet dancers, and for a long time I firmly belived that if I never made it as a dancer it would be because I wasn't thin enough. When I started to develop curves in puberty I was mortified and I adopted some really bizarre eating habits to try and combat the "problem" at that time! For me (a very young girl back then) seeing Mayte, a successful dancer, dancing for Prince no-less, who had quite heavy thighs, a curvy rear and quite a muscular torso and arms - it just totally changed my outlook and my aspirations. She made it, and yet she didn't look like the steroetype of a dancer that I had been force fed for years. I didn't make it in the end due to injury, but hey, at least I've not walked away from it feeling that my "look"had anything to do with it, and seeing her was partly what changed my outlook. So maybe I'm a little biased, and I agree maybe there are women out there with figures that are considered superior to hers, but for personal reasons I say Mayte. | |

I always noticed she had kinda that "latina" girl body and I really admired her determination to be dancing since the age of three seriously! Like you when I was younger I did go through the same thing about being embarrassed about my curves and being envious of the other lithe ballerina types in my dance classes. I felt like if I just ate like one meal a day I could have their body type too.  Now I realise that you have a shape and as long as you are fit and healthy you will look good for your body frame. I used to wanna be a ballerina too when I was younger...now I am making a sucessful carrer dancing because of my "lap dancer" body. BTW I think most men find curves way sexier than then the stick straight ballet type anyways! | |

Now I may get crucified for this statement, but what is the big deal with Jill Jones? I read countless comments about how beautiful she is and I just don't see it.
