Some of you will groan, a few may even vomit, but what about a new release from Mayte? Her website has hinted at one for years and I am just wondering if there is one in the works. Will it have a "Prince sound" and decent videos? Where is the music? Comments?

I heard she recorded some tracks when she was with Tommy Lee, but I'm not sure If it will ever come out. I think right now she is focus on her TV show, magazine shoots, and movies. I would like for her to come out with a new CD I really like her songs it wasn't on her Child Of The Sun, but she did a cover to Broken Wings I like her cover to it.

several years ago,she was in the studio with producers Full Force.This was in the late 90s when she was still married to Prince.Not sure whatever happened to those recordings.

It'd be interesting to hear what she's done with Tommy Lee -- he's done some pretty funky hardcore music.

Her musical relevance begins and ends with Prince. The only reason ANYONE bought Child of the Sun was to hear some of that kick ass material and guitar work that Prince laid on that disc. Without Prince, she is just good see - not hear.
