Nikka Costa at Temple Bar past Sunday..Whoa! Nikka Costa played the Temple Bar in Santa Monica CA. Sunday 6/20. Actually, she played last Sunday as well.
What an explosive performance. This girl pulls it all out with no fear, from Rock to R&B,Funk,Blues and Soul. Gotta keep an eye on this one. Wendy and Lisa were in the house, and the 2nd encore found Wendy funking up the joint on guitar. It was an insane show.. Other notable appearances, J7 and the Bumpsquad. Hope you survived in the oven. That place is hoooootttt! Small world. Turns out 2 of my friends grew up with Nikka and their folks are long time friends with the Costas. Weird. cracknbush | |
