Whatever happened to... Tony M? Just been listening to Diamonds and Pearls album. love it but hate that rap stuff! Made me remember one of the after show parties Prince held in London in 92/93. Tony looked like a bit of a prick...

yes, all kidding and slander aside, whatever did happen to Tony M?
a lot of his other bandmembers pop up now and then but I've never seen or heard anything about Tony in more than a decade and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

Guess we should give the man some props for not jumping on the comeback bandwaggon and dishing the dirt [and i'm sure that there's alot of dirt to be dished from that era!!].People , including myself, are hard on his contributions but what we need to realise is that he was just following MR. P's wishes and whims at the time i.e. to follow trends and macho up a bit | |

i heard he has a shop in mpls that sells sunglasses...mc hammeresque jacket and pant suits and theres a salon in the back that has the best greasy jheri curl technician in the midwest...the shop is called "the out of touch... cow town players club" i'll investigate more to see if i can find a pic or sumthin... | |

I believe it was also partly the other way round. Tony M has been quoted as saying to his NPG colleagues: "I'm gonna shove black down that motherfucker's throat!!" (P being the motherfucker in question). Of course Tony could've been talking about Prince deepthroating him....
