He was the backup of backups - none of the stage presence of Dez or the notoriety of Wnedy (even though he was much better than her). I would say Levi, but only if you include him as a bass player, as well. His guitar was smooth, but his bass was hot. And who else played multiple instruments for Prince?
For straight guitar I'd say Mike is the most versatile, though generic, Dez the most stylish (but too similar to Prince to add that much). Miko was decent, but not too exciting to me. Ditto Kat. Wendy was the worst, but as mentioned so many times, probably had the most influence on Prince's best music. In the end I think Prince is his own best guitarist. Check this song out at:
