Well, I am aware of that. then why the question? nothing mean outta this--i could see the question being asked if, say, they were reportedly seen (supposedly or non) having a bit of an argument or whatever's clever and you're wondering of their status or something. just strikes me as odd, s'all. | |

For some reason I get the feeling that some people would like to see Prince and Mani breakup. I'm not sure why this is. Mani is not arm candy and she doesn't seem interested in being a celebrity and these are the things I like about her. Prince seems very happy with her and I hope they remain together. I'm glad he's with someone who seems mature and comfortable with herself. I don't want to see him with the likes of a Carmen Electra or other bimbo like women. We should all be rooting for them to stay together for the simple reason that he seems happy. During the 90's with Mayte, he was way out there and acting like an idiot at times. I don't blame Mayte for that, in fact, I always liked her, but since he's been with Mani, he seems more comfortable with himself, with life and with his music. | |

I can answer this one and I'm not necessarily speaking from my own sentiments here, but I think the reason people want to see Prince and Mani split is because of how she allegedly interjected herself in a marriage and involved herself with a man who was already married to another woman. Now granted we don't know the circumstances of his relationship to Mayte at the time, but I guess people are waiting for the other shoe to drop because it may seem odd to some that someone who was underhanded in getting her man now has his commitment and fidelity. If I'm wrong, correct me org, cuz I don't like to speak for people. I'm gonna make you love me... | |

Sorry, but it always makes me laugh when you guys post "Mani and Prince are so happy together" usually in conjunction with some conflicting comment about how "no one knows for sure..." They **look** happy together -- REALLY? Think so?? Last couple of years, they look patently UNHAPPY together in most (not all) photos. That's not because I want them to fail, or whatever, it's just an observation. You don't have to dial in much critical awareness to see that Prince has NEVER been completely satisfied with any one woman for any extended period of time. of her.....now I got to thinking that I am not completely sure that she is a JW.....just from things I have read.....of course she could have changed too.....but does anybody know for sure? Kind of like just going through the motions, but it's not really there, just speaking generally. And, from what I can tell, there does seem to be a period of time where Prince and Mayte, towards the end, where it does seem like Mani was already in the picture, that they were doing that.....just going through the motions. I've heard some say that some of the best Pictures of them were when things were getting rocky.....like the ones in the In Style Mag. I picked up on this, and I could be wrong, but.....I noticed that when he was at the NAACP Awards, and he was "Giving Thanks to the highest Johvoah(SP?).", it was like he seemed to just be saying it, but he wasn't feeling it.....but when he thanks Prof. Cornell West.....he was feeling it.  Finally someone eles on the board that isn't living in dream land! I for one would never belive Prince could be faithful to one woman with all his money, fame, reputation I just don't see how that happens. But honestly if he is sleeping with other women WHO CARES?? Obviously Mani wouldn't because finanicaly she is taken care of and secondly who's not to say she just accepts it and she gets to be #1 so maybe she lets him fuck around on the side. Ok... but if he's a JW now, and seemingly serious about his religion, it doesn't make sense that he would be bed-hopping. I mean, yes, he doesn't seem to stay with anyone for very long, but Mani marrying him under the knowledge that he'd have affairs is crazy. His azz is too old to be gettin' down like that. Like, since I said it on TV and told every darn body, then I CAN'T CHEAT or else I'll look like a phony. People can only guess. For all you all know he may just say he is married to change the subject. there is no such thing as a jw marriage ceremony. do you all need a ton of bricks.
on to the next subject. Most people stop having sex once they get married anyway. no biggy. Smile. Marriage is a partnership. A marriage of convenience is finacially benifical for both parties. one.
