P & Time: G.Bridge experience

Well even though the movie was suspect. It seemed to put P and the Time back on good terms. At least for the moment. They seemed to be having a good time. Are there any behind the scene reports as to how things really went between them, deleted scenes, outtakes, film reports etc. It was great to see the original members of the Time 2gether. Just wondering how they got along....cause right afterwards Jesse was fired.

What i know is that Prince 1st recorded an album called "Corporate World" which contains all the Prince tracks on Pandemonium + a 5 or 6 others which has been released on bootlegs, + the Grafitti Bridge Time songs. The Time had then been re4med without Jesse Johnson, Terry Lewis & Jimmy Jam. The 3 of them eventually agreed 2 join the project but at the condition that they would record stuff they'd compose & produce in addition 2 Prince's stuff. That is the reason that Pandemonium eventually contained 5 Prince songs & 5 Jam/Lewis/Johnson songs.
A tour happened after the release of the album, & Jesse Johnson got fired by the other members after a few dates 4 behavious problems.
I have no info about the making of the film.

Jerk Out
Donald Trump (Black Version)
Chocolate
Data Bank
My Summertime Thang
were all composed & recorded by Prince, who wasn't involved in the 5 other tracks, apart from the "fellas, i'm back" chant on "Pandemonium", which was taken from "Murph Drag", a song from the "Corporate World" project.
"Murph Drag" was eventually officially released in 2001 as part of a NPG Ahdio Show.

i think u refer 2 "the latest fashion" instead of "tick tick bang". the real mc coy is actually "my summertime thang" : on the "corporate world" project, "the latest fashion" was a totally different song, much better & very funky, with the same lyrics & different music (it's been released on many bootlegs). the reason why prince eventually put the music of "my summertime thang" on "the latest fashion" remains a mystery.
"shake", "release it", "love machine" & "the latest fashion" ended on "grafitti bridge" when prince decided that the soundtrack album would contain songs sang by other artists than himself (which, at one moment, was supposed 2 happen with the "purple rain" soundtrack, too)(besides the time, mavis staples, george clinton & tevin campbell tracks, "7 corners" by ingrid chavez & "number one" by robin power" were also considered 4 the album). possibly, the obligation 2 take some songs out of the "pandemonium" project 2 make room 4 the jam/lewis/johnson tracks was what motivated such a decision, since prince probably wanted 2 have these songs in the movie anyway.
just so u know, a bootleg, 1986, version of "jerk out" sang by mazarati circulates, but it's not as funky as the time version.

It would of been cool if that Latest Fashion outtake would of been added in the film or at lease in the DVD extra.
