Dez Dickerson Song Search Anyone know of this song from about 1983 when the original
Revolution disbanded. It was by Dez Dickerson and was called "I Like The Beat". I heard it on Minneapolis radio a few times and I taped it because I thought it was cool. I never found the song in wreckastows, assuming that it was a 7" single. It had a very new-wave funk sound to it and may have even had some Prince involvement (just guessing). Anyway, I lost the tape and would like to find this song. File sharing servers have been no help yet. Maybe the song is just too obscure. Old school Prince fans would dig this tune. Anyone know the lowdown on where I could find it? -Thanks If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
