Nostalgic Moment... Okay so I was listening to Lisa and Wendy's self titled CD and I heard their song about Prince for the first time. It's really sad and you can tell how sad they were about the end of that relationship. I always liked the Revolution and I always felt as if Prince went through band members throughout the 90's in search of that creative fit that he had with them. Now I'm not dwelling too hard on it...but what if they'd been able to work things out and stay together. Do you think Prince and the Revolution would still have captivated people the way they did in the 80's? I'm gonna make you love me...

hmmm....interesting question. I personally dont think they would have been able to sustain the creative peak that they had achieved with Parade. To have three strong personalities co-exist for that long? I think what would have happened is that wendy and lisa would have gone back to being just regular ole session musicians who followed Prince's lead.....
im glad the break-up happened. Space for sale...
