I have a friend that is almost a virtuoso on classical piano,
but he can't do a G#m7. :p |

It just depends on what song/piece you're talking about. Some classical is harder and more complex than some jazz, and vice versa. I can tell you this though, I've never heard any jazz that is as complex or difficult as some of the most complex and difficult music that Mozart, Bach, or Chopin wrote. | |

personally i think jazz is harder harmonically and classical is harder melodically.just my opinion...really no definitive answer It's better to have and not need, than to need and not have! | |

I think for a Classical Musicien, it is hard, if he has to play Jazz and for a Jazz Musicien could it come hard to if he have to play a Classical song... I don't know... I think Music is more the just musical direction and tecnic, state of mind, lifestyle... | |
