The story is, Jesse had told Prince about his new album (Shockadelica) and Jesse told him the title of the album. Prince asked to hear the title cut and Jesse said there wasn't one. Prince couldn't believe that Jesse had a tight-ass album title like "Shockadelica" but didn't have a SINGLE FROM THE SAME NAME. How child like is an argument like this at this point? Why does it matter? I love most of the Prince associates (I even like some of Wendy and Lisa) but the fact that Prince relaly doesnt need any of them has been obviously for years. The fact that Prince is still the only person that anyone knows or cares about some 20 years after the Purple Rain breakthrough proves this point. | |

That's one of the things that's missing in today's R&B music is guitars, along with "good" sounding drums or drum machines, bass, and handclaps. It ain't a good groove if it don't make your ass move.
