As far as I know, there's speculation that he cheated on Mayte before their baby even died, and then of course absolutely no doubt that he had a long affair with Mani after the baby died. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Do you think??? I mean, technically I think he has already been married to Mani longer than he was to Mayte. Even though they were still together, he had their marriage annulled (b/w me and you, what the hell was up with that cuz that sounded suspect from jump and why did Mayte even go with that???)

I have no idea what the split on the org is, but it could be a majority of things...why some people care so much about, despise, hate, or even just dislike a woman Prince once married and in love with, I have no clue. As for Mani and Prince, my opinion is, they seem to be going strong, they lasted this long, they got it going on, and looks like it is for keeps, and that's all that matters. "just the facts" ... if you ask me, there are very few facts. Many people here at the ORG pretend they know and understand everything about Prince. As if they have accompanied him every single day of his life. Don't get me wrong ... I like this place ... speculation is fun ... but one has to accept that facts and rumours often get mixed. Sometimes you can build the picture by adding rumours, press articles, song lyrics, interviews, etc. This may be valid to a certain extent for the Mayte / Prince / Mani story | |

I'm not saying anything other than it's a well-known fact he was seeing Mani while he was married. There are tons of ppl over at Paisley at the time who confirmed this. Around '98. i thought no one knew anything about mani and prince being together until ages after mayte and prince split.. is this just people jumping to conclusions ??
i read that mayte was into partying, clubbing etc and prince only wanted her 2 do it when he was there and became controlling but i cant remember the source of the article so dunno bout credibility.. ** do something,before we're gone , and we're just a rock where a world went wrong...** | |

You young girls can have Prince's sorry ass. Any man that would leave a woman after the devastation of losing a baby to marry his personal assistant is an ungrateful trick.
I think Mayte truly loved him. She was young and liked to party but hell, he is old and still likes to party. Latina women rock  and I love Mayte and wish her well. All you haters need to get a life of your own so you can stop envying others!
