Brenda and Susan would have been nice, but I don't think it would have been appropriate to have them singing SEX SHOOTER at a concert who's purpose was to provide abused, abandoned, and severely emotionally disturbed children compassionate care by implementing an alternative method of recreational and education therapy through music and the arts.

I love SEX SHOOTER, but it might have been inappropriate.

What was missing? Family Jamm 2 plans! Get dat ball a rollin'.

Jesse Johnson, I think. Although the experience of seeing The Family, Madhouse and The Revolution was so amazing that by the end I didn't miss Jesse, Prince or Morris that much.

If there ever is another Family Jamm, It'd be good to see Andre and Dez there too.

Is the Family Jamm available on tape or dvd somewhere?

in addition, all the crew and stage people were those involved with purple era....

vanity was not part of that era and wouldnt have been invited btw.....she was pre-purple rain....i guess chaka and patti's performed songs were during that era....patti mentioned that she was performing her song from the era and couldnt recall most of the lyrics....it was cute watching her sing from sheet music...

carmen didnt perform..she was the host....but all songs performed were supposedly from the purple rain era...correction, maybe it was the revolution era..cause the revolution did do mountains and anotherlover....so maybe thats what it was..
