I have a few questions concerning the NPG band in Grafitti Bridge...

...for one, who was the goofball on keyboards that did the menacing "Bang" after Morris performs 'Release It' and leaves? How long was he part of the NPG?

For another, I'm confused as to T.C. and Tony M.'s role. I know Tony M. is the culprit behind all the raps in most of the early 90's albums, but is he the one in the movie pitching a fit to rap all the time?

Lastly, who was the guy with shoulder-length hair and a nose..chain. I believe he was the one who described Ingrid as "three fine".

Tony M. was in 'Graffiti Bridge',but he didn't have any spoken lines.The person you're referring to is T.C. Ellis.He's the guy who keeps pestering Prince to let him rap.


The guy with the shoulder-length hair and nose chain is Mico Weaver,a guitarist in Prince's band at the time.


I forgot the name of the guy who played keyboards,but he has been discussed here before,so I'm sure somebody else can give you the answer.He was a quick "replacement" for Dr.Fink,who wasn't able to appear in the movie.

The keyboard guy was Prince's hairdresser at the time. Fink was busy programing synths for the Nude Tour and wasn't apart of GB, so "Michael C" (I think that was his name), the hairdresser got the role

Philip C. is his name.
Prince wanted Fink to program synths and samplers for the Nude Tour at the time he was filming the movie.
PhiliP C. was brought in as a quick replacement for Fink.
