What do u know about him, and what is he doin´today? He released a funk album called 'The Genie' around 1986 I think. It was very derivative of Prince/The Time. There were two singles, "Carmé" and "Grow Up" I remember when he appeared on American Bandstand to promote the album.

I remember he followed up "Somebody's Watching Me" with another single from that album called "Obscene Phone Caller". On his next album, he released a single called "He's A Cobra". That's the last I've heard from him. Andy is a four letter word.

There was one other single called "Peeping Tom".He pretty much faded away after that.He wasn't very talented, was he? On his first two singles,he didn't even sing at all...lol...just talked his way through the songs.

I have both of his albums, but except for "Somebody's Watching Me" and "Obscene Phone Caller" I can't really remember anything else ...maybe my fault and not his Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

No he sure wasn't very talented but I enjoyed his first two songs though, especially "Somebody's Watching Me". I'll take his type of talking over an original song over today's artists talking over samples any day. Andy is a four letter word.

I think u´re being too severe. i wouldn´t compare his musical skills to prince, but hey - he certainly has his place in good 80ies Pop.

I've only heard the three 45s that I have and I love two of them. He was nothing great but he had some good songs. Andy is a four letter word.

Let's be honest here---if his father was not Berry Gordy, would he have gotten a record deal? If Michael Jackson wasn't singing on his debut single ("Somebody's Watching Me"),would the song have become such a big hit? It pays to be related to people in high places, lol.Rockwell had very limited talent...he never really "sings",he just talks his way through the songs. As for his place in 80s pop...he's pretty much a one-hit wonder.Granted,it was a good hit though
