P's choreography

Does anyone know if Prince does his own choreography? or does he hire someone to make up his dance routines--especially, for videos like cream, gett off etc.
Just curious.

Why don't you post a thread like this in "Prince: Music and More"?

Now I thought this too but someone said it was Barry luther (or someone like that) who did "batdance"

"cream" has awesome choreography, even "gett off" has some nice touches.....

Prince danced around some bit on the "diamonds and pearls" tour.....same with "parade" tour.....

Ok I know of someone else who worked with P. Remember the series Soul Food, well that guy who played the character Lem on that show did some choreography with Prince.

His name is Darrin DeWitt Henson and he has worked with a lot of folks. There was a blurb somewhere, during his Soul Food days & when he put out his dance video, about him working with Prince. True or not..... I couldn't tell ya

I'd like to remind you both that there is a "report post to moderator" button in case either of you get as sick of this as I am.

Choreography in "batdance" was great. The characters move the way u think they would, u know what I mean? The joker especially/ With his silly expressions on his face and the odd but funny gun movements.

I woulda loved to play one of them dancing jokers. Good fun and funny moves to do. How often are you asked to pull funny faces whilst dancing in a music video? biggrin
