vanity and the gorilla fur dress

Is it me or did she wear that damn gorilla fur dress to every performance/interview/photo shoot in the 80s? Joan Rivers, Friday the 13th, MTV, etc.....

LOL...I noticed she recycled quite a few outfits back then for videos,appearances,photo shoots etc....

I saw that she wore the same dress on Arsino and at some event where she was photgraphed w/ Billy Idol and in this picture

Oh well, stars' clothes are expensive why not wear them more than once, as long as they look good. And BTW, I like the "gorilla fur" dress.
If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.

Yes, she called this her "Grandma dress" because she found it in an antique shop (and had it tailored to fit her). Funny thing is, this picture was taken in 1985 and I think she appeared on Arsenio Hall in 1989 or so, when she was engaged to Nikki Sixx. I think it's cool when stars recycle the same clothes. Makes them seem more down to earth, which they should be.

I believe she bought a lot of her clothes from "Trashy Lingerie" in Beverly Hills (or near there). She appeared on Johnny Carson in a similar get-up. razz
