Tuck and Patti cover Wendy & Lisa? I just found this version of Wendy & Lisa's song "From Now On (We're One) on iTunes. I know this album is from 1991, but I never heard it before.
Here's the iTunes link: [urlhttp://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=3851166&selectedItemId=3851159[/url] God I love iTunes..... "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

I haven't had a chance to hear that version yet, but I do know there was a popular standard called "From Now On (We're One)" which I think Fats Dominoe, Ray Charles, and some others had performed in the '60s or so. I wonder if the "cover" might be that song instead?
edit: yes, i've heard Wendy & Lisa's song (it's on one of my favorite albums of all-time) -- i mean i haven't heard the Tuck & Patti version and was wondering if it was truly the same song [Edited 2/14/05 23:41pm] | |
