As we have no confirmed details on the ny eve show, does anyone know when was the last time the original Time line-up played together? Could it be as far back as 1990?

Original lineup including Jimmy, Terry and Jesse? Who knows? I recall Jimmy & Terry were supposed to do a one time only performance with The Time back in the mid-1990s at Madison Square Garden in New York. I missed the show so I don't know if it ever actually happened.

The last time the "original" members of the Time performed a concert was September 1, 1990 in London England. This is one of two shows they did when Pandemonium was coming out(the other was the wea convention show)

The last "official" apperance as a group was the SNL apperance on october 20, 1990.. Jesse, Jam and lewis left. The group played 2 shows with out them with replacements in Japan in 1991(one of them being Morris hayes on keyboards) This was the last shows the group played until late 1995 when Morris went back on the road and they have been there ever since.

terry lewis has played a few shows with the group and I know Jimmy Jam has done a couple. They might have done one together, but I don't know off hand. Jesse has only played the new years eve show with them so all the origional memebers have not been on stage together in over 14 years

I saw them on Oprah on a collective of the beat Bands that played on the show, was probably early - mid 90s, Mo was looking his age a bit...

Anyone remember it? Cant remember what they sang but I can remember the tune, they play it in Purple Rain...

They did Saturday Night live in October 1990 so if you are not counting entire concerts, this is the last original performance. Jesse Johnson was voted ot of the band after this performance of Jerk Out and Chocolate so the Time was dead for the 2nd time.
