I ran a thread about J.J. and my love for her on here quite some time ago. In that thread, I spoke on how I talked to her from the side of the stage during the Purple Rain tour. I was 15 and decked out in my Hendrix/Prince clothing. She told me how cute I looked and with hearts glowing in my eyes, I told her how much in love I was with her. To this day, I still feel affection for her cuz I think she has a great voice and is fine as hell. I think P is a stone knucklehead for letting J.J. go.

This is a pretty lame thread, and like a desperate cry for attention.

But I will say that I "met" Jill by phone and I will give details

About 5 years ago or so, I was working out with my trainer (whom I can't afford anymore ). He had told me he knew Jill because he is friends with her ex boyfriend who was a model (I think he's in the Express Yourself video).

Anyway, we were working out and his cel rang and somehow he told me it was she, and I was like "Let me talk to her!" and he put me on the phone.

She was very nice and real cool. I basically said I really loved her music and had been a fan from way back and how I really love her album etc. She thanked me. I also told her how I just downloaded her rare songs (I had just discovered Limewire or Napster back then) and she seemd really surprised that either I knew about those songs or that they were even available (I think it was like those b sides or something).

Anyway, it was only a minute or 2 but it was a very nice, normal conversation and she seemed to appreicate it that I told her I like her music etc.

This was around the time she was doing backup for Sinead O'Connor and they were going to be on some NY tv talkshow which is why my trainer was talking to her.

I thensaw her last year at the Fmaily Jamm and she looked even better than 1984 which is crazy!!! I didn't see her after the show though in the VIP room although I didn't stay too long. I wanted to tell her I'm the guy who talked to her at the gym!

During that era, when she had the blonde hair, I thought she was the prettiest woman that Prince had ever worked with.
