Snake	Who would you make the New Vanity 6? I would make sure all could sing Samantha Momba-Susan Pink-Brenda Beonce'-Vanity We all want a big hit again because we want to relive the Hysteria & Pandemonium we experienced when Purple Rain was Hot. Actually, he doesn't care if it happens again or not.

oooh, goodie goodie this is gonna be BIG FUN...this is off the dome, so I may have to chime in again later cuz the possibilities are endless!!!

Vanity was the ULTIMATE ~sex kitten~ and can't NOBODY fade her, but if we were to make a modern 'Vanity 6', I'd include:

*Alicia Keys as Vanity
*Pink or Gwen Stefani as Brenda
*JLO as Susan

I agree that making sure they could actually sing would be a must!

I chose Alicia Keys as the main DIVA cuz she is BAD ASS! I witnessed her LIVE 3 times (front row and 3rd row) and she gots the skills to pay the bills! She has a strong voice and she can play the heck out of that piano. I know alot of people question her piano-playing skills, but I feel she hasn't really shown her range yet. And, let's not forget she's absolutely GORGEOUS and has the attitude to go along with it.....D-I-V-A....!

Pink would be good as that "bad white girl" cuz she's sexy and I love her funky attitude. Plus, she can actually sing and dance! Gwen Stefani would be a good second choice, but she's not as strong as Pink, imo. Honorable mention: Carmen Electra cuz she's sexy and knows how to move too!

JLO bringing up the rear (pardon the pun ;>) as Susan cuz she's the whole package! She doesn't have the skillz or vox of Alicia or Pink, but she's got MAD FLAVE! I'd love to see a dance off between JLO, Shakira, and Mayte~!!! smile

DavidEye	Funny you should ask this question because,right now,the Mary Jane Girls are being re-formed with four NEW girls.Mary J.Blige signed them to her new label,and is working with Rick James on their debut album. As for Vanity 6 being re-formed,I'd like to think that TLC is like the "current" version of Vanity 6.

Yes,The Mary Jane Girls are being re-formed.Mary J.Blige is creating this group after buying the rights to the name from Rick James.He will also be involved,contributing songs to their album.As for the original Mary Jane Girls??

The lead singer Jo Jo McDuffie still tours,but with two new girls.I saw them back in February,on a Super Oldies tour.They are now known as "MJG" since they can no longer use their original name.
