What's Jesse's involvement with 'A Time to Kill'

In The Ultimate Collection it says Jesse Johnson scored the soundtrack to the film 'A Time to Kill' but i've just looked on both Amazon.com and uk and they say it's a score by some cat called Elliot Goldenthal. So what's his involvement then?

It's very possible that whoever wrote the liner notes got the artist confused with another Jesse Johnson. The soundtrack ato A Time To Kill lists these tracks by a 'Jesse Johnson courtesy of Dinosaur Entertainment':

"Slippin' Through The Oaks"
Written by Richard Paddison
Performed by Jesse Johnson

"Ritz"
Written by Richard Paddison
Performed by Jesse Johnson

"Antebellum"

"Marilee"

No confusion, Jesse's "Bare My Naked Soul" album is from Dinosaur Entertainment. It's the one and only Jesse Johnson.

So, to clear it up Elliot is the guy who composed the music but our man Jesse performed it. Is that correct? And is it any good?

There's another artist named Jesse Johnson. Of course, I made the mistake of downloading some of his songs. Definitely NOT the JJ we know. This Jesse Johnson is more of an acoustic, John Mellencamp type singer/songwriter.
