Yeah... I also at times can't help but look over my shoulder... although they both matured a lot so it wouldn't really be like goin' back... guess I'll just rerun their performance of refelection for the time being... again.

Didn't Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedwick just appear in a similarly titled indie movie that despite rave reviews hasn't appeared on the radar, "The Woodsman"? They just love working together, even if no one sees it. I might give it a rent just to hear what Wendy is up to, though. Apparently, Jill Scott is in this new movie. And both Mos Def and Eve where in "The Woodsman". Interesting mix of musical artists they are working with.

I agree with both of you..I have watched reflection 20 times. I really dig those three togther. I was reading a some posts on this site about a month ago...I think it was the Dez interview..where that fool was dissing Wendy and Lisa...and people were saying that Dez was more talanted..and that his time with Prince was better musically...I was about to dismantle there whole argument..but hey, let people have there opinions. One thing though..where has Dez been..who has he worked with? Wendy and Lisa have worked with Seal, Gwen Steffani, Joni Mitchell, Michelle N' dgeocello, Indigo girls, and many others. Scoring films and basically the only people outside of Shelia E that still get work. Jam and Lewis get work too, actually. So what does that say. Parade is by far my favorite Prince Album..becasue they were allowed to play around and fuck with the forms that the Beatles kinda started. Then of course came Sign of the Times..which was mostly songs from Dream factory. To deny that his music has lost something without them is crazy talk to me. It has, and it's too bad for us Revolution fans, because 10 albums deep..we would probably have put that whole group into the Hall of fame, instead of just Prince. Though I'm happy he's there, of course. There is my rant...Roadhouse Garden, baby....forever!

just a bit of info on the film...Kyra plays a singer and all the songs she performs were written by Wendy.....In addition, the title song is performed by Wendy and Doyle Bramhall.....


the music is awesome and i hope we will somehow get to hear Wendy's versions of all of them cause they rock!!

additionally, one of Lisa Germano's songs is featured throught out the film....I think its "From A Shell"...its the best thing about the film if you ask....

Say, does anyone know how the recording sessions are going for the new Wendy & Lisa album?
