who is Ani difranco? i've never heard of her til i joined this site. why does prince like her so? does any body have a music clip so i can see how she sounds? 'cause i know nothing about this chick.

Ani is an indie artist from Buffalo NY. She started Righteous Babe Records
a few years ago in an effort to get the ownership of the music back to the musicians. She is a really cool lady who has been on her own since she was fifteen. She's had a really rough life and paid her dues. Give her a listen and decide whether you like her music,but give her respect because she really is the real deal.
